Scootering

It amazes me what my boys can do with these scooters. I have just recently tried riding one just on the sidewalk and it is not easy. It takes a lot of leg strength. I love watching them do what they love doing.

Soccer 101

Alexys is on her first soccer team. She is so excited! Daddy is her coach. He is so good with the kids. My nephew Kaden is on the team too. What is better than that! These photos are from their very first practice and they did great. Kaden was making all kinds of goals which is awesome because this was his first time playing. I hope Alexys loves it because it sure is fun to watch them all run around and try to get the ball. I am so looking forward to next weekends first game.

Macro Setting

I have been having so much fun getting to know my new camera. Last weekend we were in Arizona visiting my inlaws and I had fun trying out the macro setting on my new Olympus camera. Here are a few of my favs.

Easter Weekend

What a busy, but wonderful weekend we had. My inlaws Jenny and Martin drove in to see us. On Friday Jenny and I took the girls to see the Easter Bunny. It is always so funny to see how all the kids react once they get up close to him.

On Saturday we all went down to our park and enjoyed the 3rd annual Easter egg hunt the county put on for us. Alexys found a lot of eggs.

Our local fire dept. was there and allowed the kids to climb inside of their truck.
They also had egg races for the little kids and an egg toss for the older kids. Alexys did not win but had a great time trying.

We had a great time coloring eggs. I look forward to this every year.
Brian helped decorate one. CJ says he is too old, but still loves when the Easter Bunny brings him a basket of goodies.

Samantha 3 months old

Such a sweet happy baby. It is so fun to see her in some of Alexys' outfits. Memories!

Butterfly Exhibit

On Wednesday we visited the Wild Animal Park and got a chance to see the Butterfly Exhibit. There were hundreds of butterflies all around . So beautiful. They are only there for 2 weeks so if you have the chance try to go.

Alexys was so fascinated with them all. I told her if she sat very still one might land on her. She did not want to leave until one did. Unfortunately it didn't happen. This butterfly is a beautiful blue on the inside.
