Something New For Miss LaDue

Daddy noticed her first tooth had popped out last night. Its a bottom front tooth. She has not been sleeping very well lately and this could be why. Although we have been up all night with her so maybe there is another waiting to make its entrance.

First Swing Ride

Today I took Samantha to the park for her first ride in the swing. She loved it! She was cracking up. Maybe the swings will be her favorite too just like her big sis!

A Day at the Beach

Today we went down to the beach for a couple of hours. What a beautiful day it was. The girls had a great time playing in the sand. Samantha had a great time eating it! She couldn't get enough. It was so funny. Brian and his friend Casey went too. They also had a great time trying to build sandcastles, snorkeling and skin boarding too.

A New School Year

Today both my boys started their first day of school. For CJ this will be his final year. A Senior! I can't believe how fast it went and I can't believe I am a mom of a 12th grader. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was a senior. For Brian this is his freshman year. A new beginning of a whole new world. He did say that he liked high school way more than junior high so that was nice to know. Congratulations boys make the best of your year.

First week of Kindergarten

Alexys crashed after the first day! I think she slept for 4 hours!
Her first homework assignment was to create a paper doll that looks like her. I did the cutting and drawing and Alexys did the glueing and coloring. It was a lot of fun. Man, I love kindergarten.

She was so proud. She loves kindergarten. Lets hope she is this excited about learning when she gets to high school!

Date Night!

Last night we had our first date night since Samantha was born. My wonderful sister babysat the kiddos for us. (Thank you Angie!) We met our friends Terry and Dana at their favorite italian restaurant Francesca's in Temecula. I highly recommend it. After dinner we went to Pechanga to see Brian Regan. He is Hilarious. We were even lucky to get back stage passes and meet him. If you like a funny and clean comedian (which I do) next time he is in town go see him. You won't regret it. Thank you honey for a wonderful evening out. I love you!

Alexys' 1st Day of Kindergarten

Meeting Mrs. Kitabjian

Yesterday Alexys got a chance to meet her new kindergarten teacher Mrs. Kitabjian before her big first day of school. She got to find where her desk is. She also found where she will sit during floor time and where her cubby is. She was so excited. There are 20 kids in her class and out of all those 13 of them are girls. It was nice knowing that tomorrow she would know some of the kids and hopefully not be too shy to say hello.
