Snowboarding at Mt High

Jeff took Brian snowboarding for his first time yesterday at Mt. High. They had a blast! Brian got the hang of it in no time at all. He said that was the most fun he has ever had. Hopefully next time CJ will get to go to when he is not sick.

Recovered Pictures

So you all know how last week I dropped my camera in the ocean and all was damaged. Well yesterday I was at my sisters house and I had my damaged sd card with me. She was messing with it, wiping it off some more, and we kept trying it in her camera and printer card reader. Well after many attempts IT WORKED! Oh my gosh I had tears of joy. We were able to upload the pictures to her computer. So I am going to share some on here today. Alexys and my Niece Cassidy found some Anemone. They had fun touching them with their fingers. If you have never touched one they are sticky. Very cool! So beautiful too.
We all had so much fun watching the Sea Lions on the beach. If you look carefully down below behind the kiddos you can see them laying on the beach.

I have always thought that Brian looks just like his dad. However after seeing this picture I think he actually does look a lot like me. Tell me what you think!

Alexys had fun writing her name in the sand.

What do you mean I can't have COTTON CANDY

This was Alexys last week at the Wild Animal Park. She wasn't leaving until she got some cotton candy. She parked her self down on the wall and the tears were-a-flowing. I had to explain to her that she just had ice cream and her face painted and that she wasn't getting any cotton candy. There is always next time.

Saving Up for this BABY

As you know I ruined my camera last week at the beach. Well this is the camera I have my sights on. I am saving away for it. I have been selling some stuff on EBAY. My gosh how addicting that is. It is so fun to what people bid for your stuff. Stuff that you don't even use anymore or havn't in many years. Stuff that is just collecting dust. You know the saying one man's trash is another man's treasure. It is so true. I have been to the post office more times this week than I have in a whole year. I think the men behind the counter are going to become my new friends. One of the workers there is a real sales man. You should hear him sell different postal mailing extras. Its amazing.

Samantha's 2 mo checkup

My beautiful baby girl is growing and doing so well. She had her check up today. She weighs 11lbs 4.5 oz and is 22 inches long at 10 weeks. She had her first set of shots, she did not like them. poor thing! Yeah got pictures of that too on the same sd card. ugggggg. What a day.

(revised) with photo. This is Samantha during her checkup with Dr. Patel.

A VERY VERY bad ending to a Nice Day

My sister and I took the kids to La Jolla beach today to see the sea lions and the tide pools. We had such a nice time and the kids were so excited to be exploring the tide pools. Took so awesome pictures, couldn't wait to post them on the blog tonight. Well have you noticed there are no pictures. Yes I dropped my camera in the tide pools. UGGGGGGGGG! I am just sick. Thought my sd card was ok it did work once in my sisters camera and then got home to load them and my card reader can't read it. Even tried it in my sisters camera again and nothing. What is a girl to do. My heart is just aching! I love my camera. I am a person that has it on her all the time. Well I am praying my camera and card will dry out and I will be able to use them again.

San Diego Wild Animal Park

Today the girls and I traveled to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. After a couple days of it being cold and rainy it was nice to get out into the beautiful sunshine and warm weather. We got to see the 7 new lion cubs. They were so cute playing around with each other. They stayed very close to their moms.
We rode the new tram today too. I really liked it. A little bit shorter and only 4 people to a row so you were able to see more of the animals.
As we were walking out they had an American Aligator out and Alexys was brave enough to go up and touch its back and belly.

9 weeks

This yellow outfit was Alexys' and I loved it, so I thought I would put it on Samantha today.

My canon elph has this cool feature where it will only pick up an accent color. Isn't she to cute. What a beautiful smile she has.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

Wow what a day! We took a trip to Palm Springs and rode the Tramway up to the snow. They can fit up to 80 people at a time and the Tramway takes you 8000 feet up into the mountains, not only is it high up it also rotates around so that every one riding gets to see it all. Can you say SCARY!

This was the first time for CJ and Alexys to play in the snow. We all had a great time. The kids had snowball fights. Baby Samantha slept snuggly in her carrier.

The views up there are breathtaking!

Alexys really enjoyed eating the snow. Every time I turned around she had a chunk of it in her hand.

Snow in Reno, Nv

My mom just emailed me these picture of the snow they got at my Aunt Candy's house. They were snowed in for 3 days. As beautiful as it is, all I can say is I am so glad I live in Southern California! I like that I can drive to see the snow and go home when I am done having fun.

Last night we went to our local bowling alley and Alexys got to bring her friend Logan. The girls had such a good time. They were pretty good at getting the ball down the lane (with the assistance of bumpers). I hadn't bowled in about 5 months so it was so nice to get out and do it. Samantha almost slept through the whole thing. I don't know how it was really noisy in there
