What your kids do when you are on the Computer...
Alexys was doing crafts the other day. I don't know why I thought Samantha would be fine just hanging out with her. Little did I know that she was eating the water colors. When I looked over at her she was sticking her fingers in paints and licking them saying MMM. So thankful that these are non toxic!

VeGas BAby
Every year at the end of our bowling league we go to Vegas for our playoffs. Jenny and Martin always meet us there and we have the best time. It's usually the week after our Anniversary. So we always celebrate there. Jeff took us to this fabulous restaurant in Cesars called The Mesa Grill. It's Bobby Flay's Restaurant and it has the best food and drinks. I also got to visit with my best friend Judi and her daughter Kate. They have lived in Vegas for 15 years. I cherish every moment I get to spend with them since we don't get to do it that often. (Click on her name to see more of the weekend. )

We walked over to Bellagio hotel to see the flower garden's . By the way if you haven't seen them you have to go when you are there. BEAUTIFUL! This lady bug is all flowers. They had a frog and snail too that they were working on.
Behind the flower garden is this scrumptious bakery. They say this chocolate fountain is the largest one in the USA. It was from ceiling to floor. I just wanted to open my mouth and drink it up!
They also bake some of the most amazing cakes. This is not a great picture but if you happen to want one of these cakes they start at $5 k. This teapot one would cost you $7 k.

Mother's Day 2009
We had a fabulous day. My friend Christina and I started the morning off with some pedicures. We then took a drive to Oceanside Beach for a couple of hours. Her husband is in the Marines and on their base they have this awesome children's beach. The waves are very small for the little ones. My boys love climbing through the rocks searching for crabs and sand sharks. The girls had a blast finding shells and sea snails.

Kite Flying
Last week we had a wonderful day at the park flying kites. Our mom's club had park day and we all decided to bring our kids kites. I thought for sure the kids were going to crash into one another and tangle their lines but they never did. This was the first time we have done this. I can't even remember if I had done this myself as a kid. Alexys had the best time. Can't wait to do it again.

Samantha @ 16 months
With all of the holiday festivities I forgot to post about Miss Samantha turning 16 months. She is walking all over now. She stands at the front window when the kids are out front playing and wants to go too! Don't grow up too fast my little one!
Drinking from a sippy cup.
Says Hi, Mama, Dada, Angel, CJ. Mostly she just grunts when she wants something. Unless she really has something to say then she has a full blown babble fest.
Wearing 12 month clothes.
Size 4 Shoes.
Weighs 18.5 lbs. Is 29.5 inches long.
Starting to cry when I leave her behind.
Gives kisses.
Loves to eat what we eat.
Loves graham crackers.
Knows where her nose is.
Getting more hair. The mohawk is getting thicker.
Climbs up on the couch if the recliners are open.
Waves bye bye.
Gives high 5's.
Has 10 teeth.

Easter 2009
We started our Easter on Friday. Martin and Jenny drove in to spend the weekend with us. Friday Jenny picked up Gavin and Blaze and brought them over to our house. The kids decorated eggs. At first the boys didn't want to do it but it didn't take long for them to get into it. They even wanted to take the ones they colored home.

Martin's son Terry spent the weekend at over at our house too.

Gramma and her grandbabies!

Saturday morning our local park put on an Easter egg hunt. This was the first Easter in a long time that it was cold and overcast. The girls looked so cute in their Easter dresses though. The park did 4 egg hunts for all the different age groups. Samantha was patiently waiting for her turn.

They had the Easter Bunny there for the kids to take pictures with too. Samantha was not so fond of the Easter Bunny. There was a newspaper reporter there and she asked if she could take a picture of the girls to put in the local Menifee paper. Can't wait to see if it makes it in it.

Later Saturday afternoon we did another egg hunt at our house since the boys had a soccer game and couldn't come to the one at the park.

Logan was the big winner this year she found the egg with a $20 bill in it!

Terry's boys came over in the afternoon and we had our Easter dinner. It was fun getting to see everyone. The kids all had a great time playing together.
