Wickard Farms Pumpkin Patch
Sunday the kids and I decided to visit our local pumpkin patch. It is so simple and sweet there. A great place to take pictures. Brian is excited to go anywhere since he got his permit and he gets to drive. He is also a great help with the girls since they seem to be running in two different directions these days. They had a fun little hay ride that we took around their Christmas tree farm. We didn't realize how big it actually was. It was a fun little visit!

Apple Picking
This was so much fun! I can't wait to do it again. The kids and I took a drive to this cute little town called Julian. So beautiful. My son couldn't believe we were still in Southern California. We found this apple farm called Calico Ranch. I don't think we've ever eaten so many apples in one day. After the apple picking we stopped off for some thin crust pizza. Which is now my favorite! We couldn't go home without one of their famous pies either. People line up for these pies. We can buy them in our local grocery store too but there is something about buying one straight out of the bakery!

Miramar Air Show
The Miramar Air Show was amazing. It had been over 18 years since I had been and the kids had never been. It is crazy how they fly so close and go upside down and sideways of one another. The kids had a blast. Samantha was not a fan of the explosions though. She cried a bit through that but loved watching the rest. We walked around and got to sit in some of the aircrafts. Brian met up with a friend from school. They had this amazing virtual gaming experience tent set up that the boys played in for quite a while.

Game 2 PVHS Vs Chapparal HS
Brian got to be one of the Captains for this weeks game. That was so cool. Todays game didn't go so well for us though. We lost 38-0. It was a sad game. All of us parents couldn't believe the size of their players. They were all very big and fast! Brian did get to make a great catch though. Hopefully next weeks game will be better for them.

PVHS vs Mission Bay
Today was Brian's first JV game. It is so exciting to watch. Reminds me of high school and routing for my school team. This year he is a starting receiver. He keeps telling us this is his last year playing but we are crossing our fingers he will change his mind. He is such a great athlete. Paloma won 27-6.
