It's that time of year again. Alexys is playing soccer again. This past Saturday was her first game. They lost 7-2 but had a great time. Jeff was the center Ref for this game. Brian, Samantha and I cheered her on.

Judi, Kate, Kortney and Roxy visit us

We had such a nice visit with my BFF Judi, her daughter Kaitlynn and friend Kortney. They came and spent the weekend with us. The kids had fun just hanging out with one another which was awesome. CJ didn't get to spend too much time with us he was busy working. Roxy was kept busy with all the dogs. I think she slept the whole way home.

Getting ready for the Storm Game. We always have a great time at the game. Samantha loved seeing Thunder their mascot. The teenagers wandered around most of the time.

The kids camped out in our backyard Saturday night after we got home from the game. Kaitlynn and Kortney only made it until midnight before they decided to come in and sleep in the house. Alexys lasted until around 4 am and Brian slept out there the whole night.

Friday we went to Oceanside beach for a couple of hours. It was such a beautiful day. We stopped and had fresh fish n chips. mmmmmmm.

First Snail

Samantha discovered her first snail in our grass. She wasn't too sure what to think about it at first. It wasn't long though for her to want to put it in her purse and keep it. When she wasn't looking I put it back in the bushes for its own safety.

Cooling off in Arizona

The girls and I went to visit Jenny and Martin for a couple of days. Summer is in full force there. The first day it was 115! Wheew that is hot! It never cools down at night either. Jenny discovered this cool shopping center with water fountains for the kids to play in. So we got ready one morning and took the girls there to play. It was so cool! They had a great time. There were a lot of kids playing there too.

Even the birds were hot and wanted to play in the water. It was so cute.

Afterwards Jenny bought the girls some Cold Stone Creamery and I had a Caramel Frap! So Yummy!

While Christina and the girls were camping at the beach we went there a few times to visit them.

Emily is the best babysitter ever! She is such a helping hand. Samantha loves her too!

Carlsbad Beach

We had a fabulous day at the beach on Friday with our mom's club. The skies were beautiful just the right temperature,not too hot. Samantha was right in there with all the kids playing in the sand and water. Alexys was on her boogie board all day. Brian had 4 of his friends there to hang out with too. He did get stung by a bee in the sand but still had a great time. Can't wait to go back this week.
