Samantha's 3rd Bday
Samantha turned 3 this year. I can't believe how fast she is growing. She talks up a storm. Loves to talk on the phone. She is potty trained, which is really nice! Knows her colors. Can count to 14. Loves Dora, Diego, Wonder Pets and Mickey Mouse Club House. We had some family over to celebrate with her. She was so excited.

Meeting Santa
This week Jeff and I took the girls to our local mall to see Santa! Both girls have gone before but this was the first year that Samantha was so excited to see him. We have been talking about it with her for a couple of weeks. She kept saying I won't cry. Guess what she didn't! He was the best Santa too! So friendly and just talked with the girls. Luckily this year we didn't wait until the last minute to see him. So he wasn't so rushed. If you ask Samantha what she wants for Christmas she tells you presents and if you ask her what kind she says blue ones! It's so cute. She doesn't have a specific thing in mind at all.

DeJongs Dairy
Last Friday Samantha and I, along with some other families of our mom's club, went on a tour of DeJongs Dairy in Wildomar,Ca. We had been there a couple years ago when Alexys was smaller but Samantha was just a baby. She had the best time. There had just been a calf born two days before so they showed the kids how they feed the calf with a bottle. She was so cute just kept mooing. They process all of their own milk and sell it in their store on the property. Once again we couldn't leave without a gallon of our favorite chocolate milk.

A day at the Wild Animal Park
This past week we decided to take a trip to the Wild Animal Park. It was such a gorgeous day. Hard to believe it is November and people are wearing tank tops and shorts. How lucky are we! Our first stop was the Bird Show. The girls loved it! They also had their Creepy Crawly Bug Fair going on. The girls got to pet a Hissing Cockroach! EEW! not for me. The guy holding it was letting it crawl all over his hands. It gives me shivers just to think of it! There were several stations all over the park. One was a spider station and they had black widows in clear boxes for you to see. Alexys got to craft a caterpillar out of puff balls. She loved that. To finish our day off we had a waffle cone with ice cream before we left. That's always our treat after hiking to the lions and elephants. Next time we are going to hike to the Condors.

Pumpkin Carving
The kids and I had a great time carving pumpkins. This is something we look forward to every year. Can't wait to eat the pumpkin seeds tonight!
