Alexys' Valentine's Party

The class made these folders to hold all of their Valentine goodies from their friends.

She gave Barbie cards and heart pencils.

This owl line at Target is my favorite thing. One of the moms made sugar cookies for all the kids and they got to decorate them with some icing.

14 Months old

This little one of mine is all over the place. She loves to climb into things. Her doll stroller, her shopping cart, the laundry basket and her favorite the dogs food bowls.


When I took this picture she couldn't decide if she wanted to sit on her stroller or her car. Hmm decisions, decisions!

Moms notes:

She has 8 teeth. 4 top front, 2 bottom front, and 2 top molars.

Eating more people food.

Loves Gerber Ravioli.

Taking some steps but not yet walking.

Likes to stand on her own then crawl to wherever she wants to go.

Playing Peek a Boo

Jeff caught this picture of Samantha the other night. We were playing peek a boo. One of her favorite games right now. She truly is a blessing from God. I am so thankful for everyday I get to spend at home with her. She is into giving loves right now too. Which is awesome. She has not been feeling too well with the 6 teeth she is cutting but she is a trooper thats for sure.

Random Weekend Happenings!

Alexys had a birthday party to go to on Saturday at the park down the street from our house. The birthday girl is in the middle. She is in the same classroom as Alexys. It was such a beautiful day in the low 80's. Us Californian's are so lucky.

Last night we had dinner at one of our favorites places to eat. Chipoltle just opened Friday. It was packed but the line went pretty fast. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed our dinner. It has this beautiful water and fire feature and our food was delicious!

Samantha was singing into the guitar hero microphone when we got home. She was having a blast!

Full Moon

Tonight the moon looked so beautiful. A little over a month ago we were turning out of our housing track and the moon looked so beautiful over the water reservores. I was hoping to get a shot of it tonight but the moon was already to high. I just decided to zoom in and take the shot. I do think this picture turned out pretty cool.

Stood up in the middle of the room today! I didn't have my camera handy but it was just for a moment.

Brian got his ears pierced

For the past couple of years Brian has been asking to get his ears pierced. We told him when he turned 16 he could get it done. The day he turned 16 he asked again. He was so funny going around asking everyone he knows if it hurts. Of course I told him it hurts really bad. lol. On Wednesday I took him down to Essential Inks to have it done. I thought he might pass out. He turned white as a ghost for a minute there when he saw the needles they were going to use. They don't use a piercing gun . They say the piercing gun isn't sanitary. Pretty scary to hear that because thats all I ever used to get the girls and my ears pierced.
